Swim Platform Brackets [Archive]

On my 08 X2 I have the folding swim platform brackets, the way my garage is laid out it would be easier for me to remove the platform all the way, can I switch them out? I guess my biggest question is if the holes match up? Also any ball park idea of cost?

It can def. be done but I don't think the holes line up exactly. If I remember right you have to drill at least one hole (when going from folding to removable). I don't think it was more than a couple hour job.
