Can I fix this cushion?

The center cushion on my sundeck has a "dent" in it. It appears that something internal in the cushion has either broke or has bent. You can see the divit in the cushion near the pylon. It actually looks worse in person than it does inthe pics. I'm wondering how these cushions are constructed. I'd hate to remove all the staples and the vinyl only to find out that it's broke with no way to fix it. Does anyone know what the internal structure is...and if I could repair it?

I am about 90% sure that the cushion backing is honeycomb aluminum. I am sure you could find a replacement at your dealer. Unfortunately, you can't fix it, because the internal structure of the honeycomb has been ruined... it will need to be replaced.
