Hi guys,

Wondering if anyone is near Indianapolis? I'm in the market for an inexpensive MasterCraft with a bow rider (have 2 young kids and money it tight). There is a TriStar 220 walkaround that I've been interested in and then I found another 220 Walkthrough that looks in nice shape and is cheaper (Canada vs. the US).

I'm about 12 hours from this boat:

So I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a good Marine Surveyor that I could hire locally to go look at the thing, prior to making a long trip.

Thanks in advance for any tips

You might want to PM Hoosier Bob. He lives in the Indy Burbs.

I'm originally from up that way, but won't be near there for a few weeks. sounds like mach should be able to help you. I would think for a little bit more, you could get yourself into a 205, which would be a little bit nicer boat. Overall, that is looks like it's in good condition. Will you be using it on big water? I don't know much about the TS220, but I know i'd stay away from the TS190 for big water (go ahead TS owners, I've got my flame suit on)

Thanks H20skeefreek,

I'll be trying to get mach 32v to take a quick look for me.

I'll be using it a smaller (1 mile x 10 mile) like in Northern Ontario. It's deep (300+ feet) and spring fed so it takes quite a bit to get even a white cap on it! 95% of the time it's real flat water, so I think the TriStar should be fine. I'm trying to get a 220 just so I have more room for the kiddies and toys.

Thanks
Dave
