No 12-0 rout as previously boasted about from Canada. Good thing they won or the entire country would have collapsed...

Hats off to them none the less.

Fellow Canucks... how about we be classy in victory? Let us not forget that the last time we won was '02, and before that it was 50 years in waiting. No need to boast, be proud that we got to watch TWO great teams go at it for 67 minutes. Might be a LONG, LONG time before we see hockey of that caliber again on the Olympic stage.

Hats off to Bryan Burke and the US kids who played a hell of a tournament. Burke did a heck of a job holding himself together considering the family tragedy that occured just before the games.

The macro-brews are pretty bad, unless they happen to have bought a smaller brewery that they haven't gotten around to screwing up. It will happen, but it's just a matter of time. The micros are doing a great job of making any real growth difficult for the big guys.

One of the micros here was the first to brew beer without malted barley or other gluten-containing products to be recognized as beer ny the US government. Home brew isn't subject to the same requirements but now that that door was opened by Lakefront Brewery, Busch got into gluten-free and I think at least one of the others has, too. People with Celiac Disease are happy about this.

The two best power houses in the game, that's the way it should have ended. As a die hard Canadian Hockey fan and all round huge fan of the game, the Americans deserved to win that game as much as we did. Burke was the masterpiece behind the US team, the players on the US should be congratulated on their play as well as their sportsmanship. On the Olympics, some of the best Games I have seen, congrats to the Americans for owning the podium again, and congrats to Canada for their best showing in the Olympic Games ever.

I have to agree, I just don't think the fans and players could handle it though. It is also unfortunate that it comes down to one game.

I agree what a great game. Great goal by Parise to tie it, great effort by Crosby on the winning goal. Hats off to both teams for a great game. I'm no goalie, but as well as Ryan did in the Olympics, it seems like he shoulda stopped that one. Oh well, I also thought that it's a good thing Canada won, or they may have imploded! JUST KIDDING great friends to the north! (Or south as some of Canada is from the Twin Cities) Anyways, I thought Vancouver put on a great Olympics. Hopefully the NHL will show up for the 2014 games...could get interesting if not!
