Is New Dimension towers the same as Samson water sports. The "edge" tower by Samson looks the same as the New Dimension tower. I have a 91 Prostar and want to get the best tower. I read from the previous thread that everyone likes the ND. The cost on the "edge" ad ND is the same. So, any thoughts on this issue? And what about install? Is the ND pretty esay to install? Thanks for anyones help.

I have considered buying a tower and the only one that I would ever consider getting is the ND tower. It is not cheep but Chad at ND used to build the Zero Flex towers on the Mastercrafts.

I am sure Taylor will post his on here.

If you go to my 91-94 custom fold down platform thread he posted the red 190 pics on there for me if you want to check that out. His is a ND and he says that he loves it and has no regrets.

They are not the same. Samson is up in WA and that place is in TN. The towers look pretty similar but the new dimension one has some curves that the EDGE one doesn't. I like the looks of both. I have a 1989 Prostar 190 and I have the edge tower on it. It looks rad. I don't have a better picture but you can see it here on the trailer:

Mine was installed by samson and I am very, very happy with both the install and the tower itself -- can't recommend them highly enough. No experience with the new dimension towers, but I think they look awesome, too.

Nice BBQ!

Had a Samson Sports tower on my last boat and it was built very well. I recommend them.

As requested... I do love mine and love the looks. I like the Samsons but wanted the ND look and style more. I installed mine myself and it wasn't bad at all. i'll help with any questions you have.

Okay, this gives me the opportunity to ask everyone their feelings between the Samson and the ND tower...an issue I've debated and toyed with for several years now. 2010 may be the year I pull the trigger...but I might need some fellow enthusiast input. Let me know which you prefer and why. I've been partial to the Samson as I thought the ND for the 205 set too far back, but it does have some nice lines. Choices... The pictured boat with Samson tower looks identical to mine + tower.

Yeah, trying to. I want a newer/bigger one with a v-drive. I've been getting a lot of interest since I put up the "for trade" items so I'm hoping it won't be too much longer.
