We are heading to Dale Hollow at the end of September with an Insta-Slalom and two towboats. We're renting a 110' house boat for the week. Wondering if there are any public courses on the lake, good places to set the course, good places to party and observe folk dancing. etc.

We are renting the boat at Wisdom Dock. We have an extra room aboard our 110' house boat - Sept 25 through Sept 30- if anyone is interested let me know. Any word on the folk dancers in the area?

Lots of good water around Wisdom. Lots of people do not know that on the far side of the idle zone goes back to a long ski area. Also, back side of Willoe Grove is always nice beyond the idle zone. Perfect
for ski boats!! Is the houseboat the new electric boat? I think someone already mentioned the course on Fanny's Creek outside of the dock area of Wisdom. Have fun, a great lake.

Hey I might be interested in meeting up with you down there. Dale Hollow is only a 4 hour drive for me, that is if you don't mind a 48 year old that acts like he's still in his 30's :uglyhamme

Mag - You are definitely welcome to join us - we have a couple of folks who fit that profile in our group. The boat must be the electric boat, I didn't rent it but I know we were going for the big daddy with the private rooms. We were looking at a 110' boat somewhere else but we ended up at wisdom dock.

Shucks- It turns out we got the ultra - I would have gone the extra mile for the big daddy, but me crew mates got sticker shock.

Oh well, It should be a good time anyway.

That's incredible, I'm picturing a trolling motor pushing it at 1 MPH, but I know it has to be a big electric engine! We had a 75' and with 70HP engine would push ~5MPH. Looks pretty nice inside, did you rent one?
