I read somewhere on here where someone had some good luck w/a prop for my boat w/the 1:1 transmission...........now I can't find it. I vaguely remember a new prop out by OJ or ACME or something, that someone had good luck with...........hope someone here can help!

Go directly to the man that knows, Eric Johnson @ http://www.ojprops.com/contact_us or contact him by pm, EJ OJPROP, http://www.mastercraft.com/teamtalk/member.php?u=1537
Be prepared to give him any info he may need like, current prop info off the hub, the current altitude you use the boat at, baseline numbers of the speeds and RPM's for the current prop, boat model and year, engine size, transmission ratio, function (skiing, barefooting, surfing, boarding, tubing, etc.), ballast use, fuel load, gear, nominal # of passengers, etc. He will need it to determine the best prop for your application.

Thanks for the reply...............I sure wish I could find that post that someone was talking about that pertained to the "new" prop out..............I think it was a CNC...........I'll give Eric a call soon, maybe he can shed some light on it.

How old is your PS209? If it's old enough to have a cast Nibral prop on it, then both Acme (http://www.acmemarine.com/) and OJ (http://www.ojprops.com/)have new designs (like, for the last 10 years) where the prop is finished with a CNC machine, giving a more efficient shape.

Depending on how you use your boats, there are several different props that might work best - a low-pitch prop to give a lot of acceleration at the expense of MPG and top-end speed, a high-pitch prop for speed, and perhaps one or two in between.

Call Eric; given your boat usage, he'll be able to help you out.

This one? http://www.mastercraft.com/teamtalk/showthread.php?t=24456

I couldn't be happier with the OJ 342. It is like a completely new boat.
