hi i have fibreglass transom it has some damage i have tried to remove the transom on my boat i have removed fixings but it doesnt want to come off. i have tried putting wieght on it but seems like it is glued on. does anyone have any advice on how to remove. thanks for your input

No doubt the Uckum Pucky has it stuck to the hull. It may take some more extreme measures to remove it.

You can use a short length of welding wire to burn through the adhesive. Using a 12v DC battery, run two leads (about six feet long). Tie the welding wire onto the leads. The wire gets very hot and will burn through the adhesive without damaging the gel cote. There will likely be a thin layer of adhesive remaining. That will have to be cleaned off with with a rubbing compound and some elbow grease.
