I went out yesterday and I forgot a hat, my sunglasses, and worst of all the keys to the boat.

Good thing for the spare. To top it off, one of the knobs for my tower fell off somewhere while towing home. I have to take down my tower to fit it in my garage, so I know that I tighten everyting when I left. I guess that it wasn't enough. I will now check all tower connections everytime before I go out and back.

I keep extra truck, and boat keys with me when I head out "just in case!"

Good thing you had the extra set otherwise it would have been time for a quick drive home and back :D

When you get the new nut/screw, buy two and keep an extra on board. Seems to be alot of horror stories about them falling in the lake. Not in the boat, but in the lake.
