I have a 03 X30 which is in very good condition, but not excellent, needs a few things here and there. One thing I dont like is how the tower moves all over when you hit wakes, seems to me more than there should be, same with going down the highway. What is the normal amount of movement? I also had a misshap last summer with the cooling system (major over heat and melted plastic, no enigne damage though) and now parts of the family dont trust it. I do but they dont, I kind of think I might be best off figuring out how to regain their trust in it (cheaper), and fixing the problem areas. What are the differences say between 03-04, 05-? Didnt they make a major change in 06 or 07? And well you kind of get my questions.
Thanks

Model year '06 was the big change. I have a '07 and had an '06....tower much better on the '06, '07 tower has the better bling factor. Love my 30. If I was in the market I'd most likely buy another 30, but I'd also take a hard look at the 25 which looks like it will be a great addition to the MC line-up.

yeah the major redesign was in '06, and each year they add a few new features and change a few things, but the difference between an 03-05 boat to a 06-10 boat is pretty significant.
If you ARE looking to buy sometime soon, I think its going to be very hard to find a 05-07 X-30 around, I know neither of the WA dealers have any, and there certainly aren't any I know of for sale on the east side!
