Well board lengths go by weight. I know Overtons has some reasonable priced boards. If you are willing to say your weight i can tell you the length of board you would be comfortable on.

i would say about a 137-142. Anywhere in that range would be personal preferance. If your more into riding, go with a bigger board. But if you want to get better (spins, flips, ect..) get a 137-139 board.

Molded fins help in keeping you stable. I personally love them.

I have an older Hyperlite (belmont 131, with hyperlite 30/60 bindings) Its good for me, it s 6 fin board. But i like the new Hyperlite Temet board, the fins on the nose are wider, so landing switch gives you more traction on the landing. As for the molded fins, my friend just got an O'brein Player board. Its nice, its got nice pop, and nice tracking. Its a 10 fin board!

Check out wakeworld.com they have reveiws on most boards. Also have a board wizard to give you an idea of what will match what you want.
ebay.com is also a good place to get a board, and bindings. You can get last years model boards ( new ) and for over half the price.

I have bought two off there. My son gets them as they come out with them ( has to have the new model ) so we pay in the $400.00 - $450.00 range for him.
He have always like the hyperlite Byerly boards, but this year my son went with a Gator board and he likes it very much.

I bought alot of stuff (wakeboard, handle, rope) from http://www.wakeside.com/ this past year. They have a great rewards program that doesn't cost anything, but they give you credit back on future purchases.

I have a hyperlite 142 and at 5' 11" and 200 pounds. While it has been good, I'm beginning to think it may be a little big. Four fins so seems to hold ok, but easy enough to break loose to spin around or slide sideways. Will try the kids board this summer to see (135-137).
