Hi all i am new here and i wanted to know if any one has seen a boat like this.
The price was somewhere around $15,000.00 USD

It is a maristar 25 feet can some one tell me if this could be true???

I would love to hear your opinions and if any one can tell me where to find parts for this boat i will be very thankfull.

The boat runs great i can get 3 guys out from a deep start in slalom (that was the test i used to know if the engine was ok)

Si tell me what do you think

What boat is this???? Marstar 225 VRS... looks to be older than 1995.
Any idea of the year??? Ask for the Hull ID number. The last 2 digits are the year. Looks like a '94
What do you think about the price??? Price seems a little high.
where can i get parts for the engine??? Any Dealer or SkiDim. The LT-1 are good motors. Just make sure it has never been over heated and that the boat has not been run in salt. The cast iron block and aluminum heads don't like each other when salt is thrown into the mix.
Do you like it??? Subjective
Is it a good ski boat??? What type of skiing are you talking about? Recreation? Sure. Slalom competition? Not so much!

Any thing you can tell me about it

Thanks to all

Thanks for the info It has never been in salt water but i want to take it to salt water what should i do to take care of it???? it has only 200 hrs of use all parts are original.

I paid $8,000.00 uds plus an old 1990 outboard boat that i had it was a made in mexico boat.

But the most important part is i am going to take this boat to acapulco ( the pasific coast of mexico) what do i need to do to take care of it and make it last for nice time lets say 4 years???

Without closed cooling and saltwater-specific hardware, I wouldn't put that boat in salt water.

Look what will happen to the trailer after dunking it in saltwater.

My $.02
I assume you own this boat already, so if you have/want to use it in salt water on a regular basis I would install a closed cooling system and sacrificial zincs. A flush kit for the heat exchanger and exhaust manifolds would also be a good idea. Spray the engine down with WD-40 after every use, and don't leave the boat in the water for extended periods of time to prevent hull blisters.

Trailer: sell it and get a galvanized one (or aluminum one)

As stated before, it's an ok boat for slalom but a direct drive (prostar) would have been a better choice.

Thanks for all your coments the good part is tha the trailer will never touch the salt water we use a crane to get the boats in the water.

I ahve allready installed 3 zincs on the boat one is on the drive shaft one more on the rudder and the other for all the electrical wires.

but what is a closed cooling system where can i get it?

i was planing to use this boat for tubes ski wakeboard slalom like an allporpuse boat.
i will have the boat 4 months at the beach and then take it to a lake the longest time it will be in the salt water will be 7 days the next time will be no more than 2 days.

thanks again for all youre ideas guys i would love to buy a better boat but i am 19 years old thats what i could buy well i could have bought a sea ray but i dont think it is a good boat.

Thanks again if any one can help me get the closed cooling system i will be very thankfull

You could try either of these 2 sites for cooling systems

I think this boat will be nice for you if maintained and cared for. Very nice boat for a 19 year old too! You're smart for using a crane to splash the boat instead of dipping that trailer in salt....good move!

Someone else could comment on the wake of this boat for wakeboarding, but I think it would be pretty nice! (You may even want a tower for it in the future)

Yeah, your manifold are gone. You can probably pick up a set from a dealer or here: http://skidim.com/products.asp?dept=1068

That listing says "no v-drive". It may work but it's
best to call the company and tell them what you have so you get the right kit.

It looks like he should have PLENTY of room to mount the heat exchanger on the front (facing the stern) of the engine, but calling ORCO would definitely be the best route and probably required to place an order!
