Maybe boat companies like MC should look into using a marinized version of the DuraMax diesel engine! They are incredible engines for power and torque, and make alot of sense in marine applications. If they don't make it more than a $15K option they just might sell a bunch, here and overseas. :D

GM also stopped making the cast iron 5.7L but it's still being made. I expect the same to happen with the L-18 and many of the others they discontinue.
