How's Madeline doing?

12-17-2009, 03:59 PM
Madeline is doing really well, she's at home now and out of the NICU. The bad news is her intital diagnosis is correct and she will need several heart surgeries to correct it, the good news is that she is stable and the cardiac surgeon has said that her condition is better than most.

Thanks for asking, and a special thanks for your thoughts and prayers.

12-17-2009, 05:06 PM
I was unaware of your daughter's condition. My heartfelt support goes to you and your family. She's a cut little bug!

Happy Holidays. See you at the show.

Really sorry to hear about your daughters health problems. She sure is a beautiful girl.

My thoughts and prayers go to you and your family.

12-17-2009, 05:33 PM
Thanks guys, it was tough to learn that she had a heart condition but having her here with us has been amazing. Being in the NICU was a pretty sobering experience, glad that we're all able to be at home.

She sure is a cutie!!!! :D

That photo made me realize that my problems of late are not that bad. Her look could melt the heart of the biggest Holiday Grinch. Happy Holidays and all my prayers to your family in the future.

Pat, thank you for the thoughts. It's been a very humbling time for my wife and I. It really made me realize that there are some things that are just not worth fretting over, lifes just too short and too amazing!

Corey, first of all glad to hear things are good with your daughter.
I just looked at the boat show website, looks like tickets are a bit cheaper this year (with $3 off) and kids are free! Awesome, I may swing over there with my daughters. Keep us posted when you know more about the rail jam schedule, that could be pretty fun to watch.

01-20-2010, 03:25 PM
Corey, I am coming up this weekend. 25 will be there for the last day then? What color is she?

01-21-2010, 08:58 AM
She's Viper Red with Black logos, DVD player, Tower Camera, Heated Seats, Surf Tabs, Bimini, LY6....

01-21-2010, 09:54 AM
Corey, how was the first evening of the Boat Show?

I'm heading there this evening, Long 2 block walk to the Convention Center from my office!

01-21-2010, 10:05 AM
I was planning on tonight as well but may change plans since I'm coming from St. Paul. I would be fine if I could ride my sled with 144 carbide tipped stainless steel studs. Too far to skate. I will just have to see how traffic is moving.

Just come, The drive won't be that bad. They will have salted for the ice. I'll be driving home from Minneapolis through St.Paul and 20 miles farther to Hudson.

Doesn't look like much so far. Roads should have enough salt by this evening that my truck tires won't even be touching the road. I imagine I will be there.

We had a great time at the Minneapolis Boat Show. The X-25 is a real beauty. Midwest Mastercraft had a great display.

We were able to watch the rail jam show. It was very well done. Can you tell which daughter caught the free t-shirt thrown out to the crowd and which one didn't????

Corey and Eric, thanks for lining up the guys to sign autographs.
