Do any of you have the 4'x4' foam floats? We called them buns? They come in white, blue, black, green and many other colors. You all know what I am talking about, right?

Where can I get them? I had four as a kid but lost them to the sale of the house, I would like to get more but the trading post is closed up where I remember getting them 20 years ago for $5-$20. I understand they are 4x that much now.

Any ideas?

There is a fella in the Irish Hills of SE Michigan, that lives near Michigan International Speedway on M-12, he has hundreds of these foam squares outside for sale every day in the summer. I think he sells them for $10 a square. I know a few people at my lake that have purchased from him. We sometimes float our boat lifts into place with them, so the are the high quality stuff. If you heading north on M-52, turn west on M-12, he will be about one mile from there on the north side of the road. You wont miss the huge amount of these squares he is selling.

I think i bought some from the same guy. If i recall they were made to be used as the "pad" under the older style astroturf.

Sorry, I am looking for the 4" thick colored floats the kids play on in the summer and we use to lift the dock and boat lift in the spring and fall.
