My Maristar has the 5.7 Chevy 350. Just bought it recently and this will be the first oil change, ect.

For that motor I wanted to know what weight oil and brand you use? What fogging oil you use(are we talking WD 40)? Also what # WIX oil filter does it take?

Any help would be great, the manual list how much oil it takes but not a certain brand or weight. It also list the trans amount and the spark plugs which im changing too.

I tried a search first, but came up empty handed. I should be set from now on with this info. Thanks in advance,
Taylor

Shell Rotella 15W-40 is a popular choice around here.

NAPA filters are made by WIX, and the NAPA GOLD 1060 is the taller version which works well - more filtering area than the stock filter. If you want the shorter version it is the NAPA GOLD 1069.

Fogging Oil is NOT WD-40. I use Pennzoil Fogging Oil, comes in a spray can at your auto parts store.

Engine oil, filters and transmission fluid/oil have been beat like a dead horse on here.

Take one of the existing 8 plugs out and buy a set of 8 like what you took out.
