Bob Greenes who bought a boat from us a couple years back has developed a pretty cool
beverage holder for direct drive boats

Check it out

Hello and happy holidays skiing friends and boating enthusiasts.

Some of you know that I developed a pylon-connected beverage holder for my personal direct drive inboard ski boat - and you also may have personally enjoyed its benefits while skiing or boating with me. After a number of enhancements and refinements, this accessory turned out to be quite stylish, convenient, and functional. It worked so well, many people asked me where they could get one for their own boat. Until now, the answer was nowhere.

Due to the overwhelming interest and positive feedback I received, during the past two years I refined the design and developed the product for retail sales. This product has been successfully test marketed at the 2009 Indianapolis Boat Show and throughout 2009 at the following retail outlets:

PineCrest Marine (Indianapolis MasterCraft and Cobalt dealer) - www.pcmarine.com
N3 Boatworks (Indianapolis Nautique dealer) - www.n3boatworks.com
Skiers Edge (Indianapolis water sports pro shop)
Gulf Shores Marina (Naples Florida MasterCraft dealer) - www.gulfshoresmarina.com

It continues to be offered locally by these retail oulets and is now offered nationally by MasterCraft by Design custom accessory web site (www.mastercraftbydesign.com). Check out these great sites and this new product at the following web links:

I have attached a one page brochure that highlights this new product. Feel free to contact me with any questions or if I can help you in any way. I hope you are doing well and that you have a wonderful holiday season.

All the best.

We usually just bring water. We save the beer for the dock.

I really do like the cool beverage holder on pylon concept.

As far as the prune juice, I only use that up as a backup just in case a picture of my favorite TT member doesn't move me!

actually, there is a good reason for no beer on the boat. The police actually pull you over JUST to do a safety check and a drink check. they even wait for a rider or skier to stop and pull up to the ski boat.
there has been a lot of alcohol related deaths on our lake in the last 3 years. one A-hole pulling his niece on a tube, flung her into a dock. killed her.

and he got off lucky...

nope, not open... they made my dad poor it out.
of course, when they left he popped another one! 8p

we have FL widelife, city, county and FD on the lake every weekend. the SO has a 22' flats with a 250 supercharged f-stroke merc. that boat is nasty fast.

In Wisconsin, the legislature wouldn't dare try to stop people from having open drinks on a boat.

Nice Cup Holder design, but you won't catch me paying $120 for it... Maybe I'm cheap :D
You would have to spill 100+ beers for it to pay for itself....

Double D, I'm with you. You could make one out of teak and build it yourself for that.

On the Cumberland River...always travel upstream and bring enough beer so if you break down you can float home.

I have...I found a good deal on one a couple of years ago and almost pulled the trigger. It was a nice older one that I wanted to set up just like that.

Here in Montana it was legal to drink and drive in your car as recently as three years ago, and it wasn't so long ago that we had no speed limit (drink and drive as fast as you want to), so I'm pretty confident you can boat with your favorite sudsy treats without any worries. Of course there are always some yahoos that go crazy and ruin it for everyone. This last summer those yahoos were a state senator and our congressman (we only get one here). The senator was driving the boat at night, at speed, completely smashed with a boat full of passengers when he ran the boat ashore. Pretty sad and pathetic.

Nothing spells leisure quite like drinking and boating, but like anything, you can't be a jackarse about it.

I gotta' get me one of those contraptions!

JP :)
