What gauges should be back lit? On my boat, only the volts, oil, and temp light up. It this right? No speedos, tach, fuel, or clock?

I have the same boat Eric. MarkP is right, they should all be lit up. Probably just bad bulbs if some light up and others don't.

I have a '95 and all the gauges light up and I happen to have it in my parking lot and checked for you.

I would look at bulbs too. If its not that maybe a ground or behind your dash maybe the “light” wire has come loose and I believe that (light blue) wire runs in series from gauge to gauge. Its like that on 93s anyway.
They all do light up on 93s

I have the same boat as you.(96 190)
Everthing lights up even speedos and tach.
I just checked to be sure.

You know what would be cool....If they all where backlit with RED lite!! For some reason, I have always thought red dash lights were too cool.
so is there any way to do that easily.....? red dashlites

My lights are red. there is a pic in my gallery of my guages. They all light up red.

My 209 has a red dash where all the gauges light up.

My lights are red. there is a pic in my gallery of my guages. They all light up red.
My lights are red as well. That was actually one of the determining factors in the brand of depth finder I ended up with. The Humminbird has red backlight

well bummer, I dont have red dash lights :mad: :purplaugh I just like colored lights. it would be cool if they were red, but I can live with white. :rolleyes:
