Broke off the anchor light cap and bulb on my 06 X1. Does anyone know if you have to replace the entire black base and run the wire. I couldn't get the rest of the bulb out. Help apprecitated.

Pretty much any marine catalog or store will have them

Use a needle nose pliers to unscrew or remove the lamp base. Some of them need to be pushed in, then unscrewed. A little WD40 might help. If a little force doesn't work, use a little more force.

Are you talking about the one on the tower? If so my dealer had the cap bulb in stock. They were actually pretty cheap. Apparently people up here knock them off all the time on the canopy of their covered shore stations.
