I live just south and do all my boating/skiing on Swan Lake. Swan Lake is just a bit west of Pardeeville, WI. I haven't made it up to Green Lake but I heae heard it is a really nice lake.

About 110 miles (2:15) south of there, just south of Milwaukee. Are you looking for a summer place?

I'm about an hour south now(three hours north in the summer). The last couple of summers I've spent a weekend there for a reunion with a group of a bunch of members from another forum. It is a big, deep lake....not the best for skiing since the water gets pretty rough with any wind at all. Why the interest?.....Its a long way from home for you.

It is a little over an hour away from my house. I haven't skied on it since I was a little kid so that was 40+ years ago.
As I recall it is a deep, spring fed lake, rough and cold as heck (especially for someone from Florida).
Let me know if you get up this way and I'll be happy to pull you (assuming the lakes are not fozen over). We can usually find good water on the lake where I keep my boat. As I recall I owe you a pull!
I'll be back in Winter Haven in March and will call you then.
