I have an 85' Stars and Stripes with 270 hour and unfortunately found bottom in the muddy Maumee. I bent the aft stabilizer fin, the drive shaft, drive shaft strut and killed the prop. Looking for advice on the best place(s) to source all the parts so I can put her back together this winter.

Thanks.

Nice folks to work with out here in my neck of the woods... Helped me out a bunch over the years with a couple of boats I have owned.

Second on Elberts. It's where I got all my gear when I bent the shaft, strut, rudder and crack the rudder housing.

I'm not sure about shafts, but the rest of that stuff can be had from OJ Props (http://www.ojprops.com/products/rudder_kits). I was under the impression that they made at least some of those parts as OEM for MasterCraft and are suppliers to SkiDim. I'd give them a call or PM Eric Johnson (http://www.mastercraft.com/teamtalk/member.php?u=1537) here on Team Talk.

Thanks for the references. I have the drive shaft coupler unbolted from the transmission and need to get the nut off that holds the coupler to the shaft. Anyone know what size nut that is on my 85 mastercraft? www.skidim.com sells a 1 1/16" and a 1 1/4" low clearance socket and wrench to remove that nut but I'm not sure which one I need. Thanks.
