a few months ago when i was in the market to buy, i came across this boat in Denver. Thought it looked exceptioanlly cleaned and well-cared for. I ended up going with a different boat. Today, i saw it was still for sale. Any thoughts out there why this boat isn't being sold? Curious if i am missing something that your more experienced MC owners are seeing. Maybe owner is part of Team Talk.

Don't get me wrong, I like direct drive and own a direct drive, but in that price range you could buy the 1995 225 VRS w/ LT1 for $18,500 in the marketplace. My Maristar is a 90 w/454 and I paid over $10,000 less. It needed work, but looks and runs like new. Also not sure why they redid the seat bottoms gray. It looks like a nice clean boat that throws a decent wake, but I think you could buy more boat at that price. What did you end up buying?

2000 Maristar 210VRS. met the needs of our family better than the direct drive.

Proabably hasn't sold for the same reasons my 190 hasn't sold for $13k in Denver....the economy. He wants what he wants for it, kinda like I hit my bottom line price as well.
That and I'd say he's a couple thousand high for that boat. Trying to recoup more of the recent $ he put in it (tires, upholstery, ballast, etc).

you can buy anything nowadays way below blue book! I bought my element for $10k when blue book on it was $17k; it's sad, I feel bad for everyone trying to sell anything.

I recently graduated from college with a degree in PE, and I am one of 8 people to get a job out of my PE class of 32. This economy sucks.

And to top things off, my job is at a behavioral disability school.
