Came accross this, interesting, anyone ever use one of these?

My question is, if the outside temp drops below 15, will the unit overheat or just not be efficient?

Those heaters look nice. I like the idea of not having to worry about draining fluid since we use our boat in the winter. But for that amount of money, I will continue to simply pull the block plugs and drain the manifolds and heater between uses. Still good to know that these heaters exist.

I just ordered one of these so I hope it works. I think if it drops below 15, it just runs constantly and is ineffiecient. Now I just have to figure out where to mount it.

I once heard if it dips below freezing before you have had a chance to winterize, you can clip a work lamp in the engine compartment and leave it on all night. Definitely not a long term solution.
