Hope everyone is having a nice weekend
the rudder on my ps 190 has a plate like a planer attached to it , i imagine that this would actually "flatten" the wake which for my purpose of wakeboarding is not the outcome I need.
Can anyone substantiate this, or am I incorrect in assuming that is what is happening?
Thanks

Does it look like the rudder shown in the top right corner of this ad or is it different?

If it looks different, can you post a picture?

That type of rudder provides lift at the stern and causes the boat to ride a bit more bow heavy to reducer the size of the wake. Kind of surprised to see a rudder like that on a '95. They usually only came on the '98+ DeathStars.

Yeah that is exactly what I was thinking too.

Wakesurfer: If you want a little more detail on the 99+ rudder click here (http://www.mastercraft.com/teamtalk/showpost.php?p=587692&postcount=11) and then read the paragraph above the photo of the "hyrdorail".

Thanks guys you are the best!!!!!!!!!!! is that a rudder that is worth something to someone? like would anyone be willing to trade it for a normal rudder so I dont "flatten" my wake?

Would it have any noticable effect when riding in wakeboard speed then?
