I talked to MYMC and he is checking for me on a price to do this upgrade! BTW I have a 06 X2(No VDIG)! With that said might be more money or less money more for you! Don't know! Could just be a plug and play for you!!!!!!! Shoot him a PM he can tell you better than I can!

Not really ballast or tabs. Sounds like you need ballast for bigger wake and tabs to lengthen the sweet spot.

I will be talking with the engineer on this today...I am hopeful that we will have a solution for all MC boats soon.

I am not sourcing the parts through MC, and to be fair they are working on their own solution as well. I find it odd they want to make retro fit surf tab kits but don't want to make upholstery for older boats?????

Last i heard we will most likely be able to add the tabs to older models but controlling them and knowing their position is still up in the air. The 2010's are controlled through the Viper which is the brains behind the BIG. Their is not yet a system to make them compatible with the vdig or a switch or anything built for previous years. Only time will tell....

I had the Ski tab added to my 2009 X2 and it does show on my VDig as well as the controls are above my ballast fill switches. I get the display showing percent of trim on the dash. It also has the display for the side trim tabs but I didn't not add them. I am not sure if there is that much differnece between the 2008 and 2009 so I would think that you would be good to go. As far as the cost it was around $1500 for the ski tab so I would think that the dual tabs would be $2000 +
