Does the "MasterCraft" font have a particular name that I could ask for at a sign shop?

The closest one is called Hemihead, IIRC, as used for the domed registration numbers, but it is not exact, it's a one of a kind.

Hemihead 427 is very close, many of the letters are open or a bit funky.

I've done 30 or so sets of registration numbers for a dealer in south texas with the "improved" letters.
Any sign shop should have the font but they will most likely charge you out the ying yang to close the letters.

Anything specific you're looking for?

It is a font family, but it's proprietary and is a registered trademark.

AS mentioned, the closest match is Hemihead426. You can download it here (http://www.1001fonts.com/font_details.html?font_id=2161)

Man, the knowledge you guys have is incredible!

I don't have anything specific in mind at this time, just thinking about projects for the future.
