hey all,

I'm looking for a 2004- salvage or repo for under $20k... Ive looked on several of the online salvage sites, and have found little. I'm convinced Im looking in the wrong places. Anyone happen to know of a good local auction, or of a MC in bad/damaged condition?
I figure if I dont have the money but I have the skills, I might as well go for a "project-dream boat." Thanks for your help.

My youngest "dream Mastercraft" would be a '94 and it's easily found for well under $20,000 - and they generally need no restoration. Good luck with your search though!

I wish you luck, seems like most of these in salvage condition are insurance totalled out and probably not cost effective to repair.

But you may find a gem.

Sort of need to find someone in the insurance industry to find out where theirs go.

I remember a dealer in FL a while back that had a yellow X7/197 for sale. The interior looked shot and the description said it needed some TLC. I think that boat was in the low $20's. I will look for a link

EDIT: Here she is!

That X7 was there in the spring when I was in for oil change/rear main seal
