Has anyone out there compared the wake of 1994 prostar 190 to a 1995 Malibu response?? Also is the LT1 Engine in the 1994 prostar that much better than the standard 350 engine (pros/Cons)
Looking for 1994 prostar, but this time of the year they go fast.
thanks for all your great advice.

Hands down the 190 will be a better wake (less wake/better spray control) I have a friend on our lake that has a 2000 Model Response LX with the Diamond Hull and his wake is larger than another guy on the ski teams 93 MC 190 by far.

Check this one (http://dallasboats4sale.com/index.asp?boat_type=46) out. Third down on the page. If I were buying the boat, this is the one I'd be looking at (by the way, I have no connection whatsoever to this boat).

No comments on the wakes but............
IMHO the LT1 is one of the best engines MC has ever had. I had 660 trouble free hours in 10 years on my 95 PS205. It never went back to the dealer's once! Scot a TMC member bought it from me and it is still going strong. It has a very smooth power curve and would push my 205 to 47mph. As long as the previous owner took care of the engine you should be golden.............

If I were in the market right now this is the boat I would buy. http://www.tmcowners.com/teamtalk/showthread.php?t=3283It looks extremely clean and has low hours.

What's the NADA value on a clean, low hour 1991 (since I'm too lazy to look at the moment)?

NADA without trailer and no additional options is Low $8,390 Average $10,110. I think that boat assuming it runs and skis as good as it looks is probably worth about $13K. It is priced a bit high but if it could be negotiated down someone would have a very nice ride.

Thanks, Brian, sorry for being so lazy there. Very good looking boat. Hope it goes to a good home.

That boat has a nice deep shine to it! I am going to have to bust out the wax and buffer pretty soon.

The 5th boat down on that page (Blue '04 197) is a beautiful boat. I saw it in person - it looks 10 times better than the pics.

You'll be so happy you did. I did my mid-season waxing on Tuesday and my annual oiling of the teak. It looks soooo purdy. Almost going to be a shame to mess it up this weekend. ;)

Beautiful, but out of my price range.
