His location is Canada, I would think it is in Canadian dollars. Great boat, sorry to hear you have to sell. Hopefully in the future you will own another Mastercraft. Good luck.

Nice boat! Noticed you've got two tower speakers facing forward. Did you do this for any particular reason? I've been considering doing the same so I can have 2 of those brighter lights facing the rear. The 3-light bar that MC offers is only good for surfing, doesnt extend much far back than that.

I have the two lights forward set up on a seperate switch....the tower lights. The two facing back I have wired into the washdown switch so they are seperate as well. The light bar is on its own switch as well. Before when you turned on the tower lights front and back it was horrible because you could not see where you were going. Now when we are night surfing in the summer we have the light bar and the back two lights on which works great and when back at the dock we can turn the front lights on for mooring etc. Works really well.

The price is in US dollars. This boat has all the options, the 8.1 motor, fly high ballast system that is sorted out perfectly, plus more and is one of a kind with the windshield and tower. Also remember I have the original 40th Anniversary luggage, floor mat, book for this boat plus the original 40th carpet like new. When using the boat I just put a cinder grey carpet in it not to wear out the 40th carpet. It has an extra brand new 40th Anniversary cover as well still in the package. I only have it out of storage for 60 days a year as we only used for 6 weeks and then service it and back into storage. Hopefully the person who buys it will appreciate it and keep it nice as 5-10 years down the road it will be a very exclusive boat. Thanks for taking the time to review the boat and options...............

This one must be a steal with less hours at $70k US dollars, if it's still available?

Not trying to be rude. I didn't know the 8.1 is a $20k upcharge. That's red, not orange.

Your right...it is not a 20 k up charge for the engine however it is an upcharge for sure. if you have purchased a MC before you know that there are a lot of options available and when buying a used one you need to check options....heaters...rear transom remotes...underwaterlighting......all 4 speakers with lights....painted platform.........remote lighting......rear facing light bar.....sirius radio....hudraulic steering....extra battery.....battery charging system......fly high aftermarket ballast.....extra prop....additional carpet...additional cover.....shower.....heated seats........custom tower....custom windshield. Not sure if this boat has all the other options other than I do not have a ski pole or the front ladder for cosmetic reasons and functionability. It looks like a good deal for sure don't get me wrong. I know what I paid for mine with all the options and it is all there. Just looking for a fair deal on an awesome boat!!!

Thanks for bringing the question forward....

Photos are tough on this red flake for sure. If you try and enhance the photo in any way the color goes orange however it is red for sure.

I could be wrong, but I was under the impression that there were very few options on the 40th Anniversary boats... the motor was obviously one, but I thought the speakers/lights etc were standard on this boat. Anyone know?

I remember talking about this boat at Buckeye.... every option known is on it!

Good luck with the sale

Whats the purpose of the 5 piece windshield as opposed to the 3 piece? Is it just the aesthetic color or more?

I think you are not going to sell without coming down at least another 15K, IMHO.

Here is what you might be competing against...

http://www.ksl.com/index.php?nid=218&ad=8071026&cat=&lpid=

It is a 2007, but also has the 8.1 and many options. 46K is pretty slick.

I respect the position of the OP. But almost $90K US seems on the very high side. I bet I can order a 2010 equipped identically for the same price. Except for the 40th graphics. Which aren't that exclusive as they were only limited by the number of orders submitted.

Like the ad says...I am open to offers. Someone has to really like and want a 40th. If they are it is a great boat and we can deal.

I got a 40th X-Star SS back in January and never really announced it here. So while we lose one we gain another. I'll have to post pics some time. I do love the black windshield frame Springer.

No ladder or ski pylon that is a deal breaker for me. JK

Good luck with the sale it sure is a beautiful boat.

I just checked with my dealer on options for the 40th.

Quote "The only options that were part of the 40th package were the Boat Cover, the paint and graphics and the low profile trailer. Everything else was an option"

Just wanted to set the record straight...............Some great comments on this thread though. Great to see so many MC enthusiasts out there on this site monitoring a great product.

I think MC should have never done away with the black windshield!!

IMO I think the silver/gray looks cheap. I had the black windshield on my 1993 star and stripes and on my 1997 ps190.

My X-10 has the silver which does not compliment my red and black hull at all...
