I had water in mine once. Sucked as much as I could out with a suction tube. Sprayed some WD40 in the trans in the hope the water bonds with the WD 40 added some transmission fluid and sucked it out again. I think I did that a couple of times in succession until the transmission fluid would stay the original color. That was four years ago now and haven't had any transmission problems. BTW my boat is a 92 ProStar with powerslot.

The only place water can get into transmission oil is by a cracked cooler.
Very easy to check...:)

Or if a seal is leaking and you get lots o water in the bilge. Ask me how I know.......

Or..if you are away for three weeks, your cover blows off during the rainiest summer in years and your auto bilge burns out...

I know, it sounds like a lot had to go wrong...but it did.

Nothing that 6 or 7 transmission fluid replacements wouldn't remedy...sigh :(
