I went to buy a new set of plugs for my LQ9. As discussed many times on this site, I asked for AC Delco 41-985. AC Delco now offers 41-110. Has anyone used this new number? I know I can find 41-985's, but don't want to pass up any improvements that the 41-110's might offer.

On this site, I found this, http://www.acdelco.com/parts/sparkplugs/ and this ID page,
http://www.acdelco.com/parts/sparkplugs/identification.jsp, but trying to look and compare up your 41-985 vs 41-110 is a dead end, maybe you will have better luck.

The only thing I could get from the page was the 41-985's are Platinum, and the 41-110's are Iridium. I sent Delco an email asking for differences and recommendation.

"Iridium dissipates heat faster than any other metal used in spark plugs keeping the plug cooler and extending its life." is what I have seen.

The only spark plug that has held up in my LQ9 is the NKG TR-55 Copper tops. Other than that pretty much any other plug craps out pretty quick.

The AC41-985's are iridium. At least thats what I was told when I swapped to them on my 03 LQ-9. I've used them for 2 summers now with no issues.
