Seems that many are using the Kevlar liners that can be had for something like $2 a pair at Grainger (part number (#1AJ44). I have no need for liners so this is just third part info that I am passing along.

Brian, Grainger is apparently the ticket. I just emailed my wife to stop by there on her way home from work (they don't have an outlet here and she works one town over where they have one). My hands have been getting a bit tired more quickly than usual. It's wholesale though, so you'll need a business tax ID number. Someone suggested to me to use the name "Cash" for a business, but my attempt was thwarted by their website as not a legit business.

Price is something like $2.65 a pair, once size fits all, no need for larger gloves (or so I was told on the Nicholl's board).

Okay, so are you guys just going to the local shop and giving them your SSN or do you do it through a business? I've got ski school and a long week of skiing coming up. Need to figure out the secret handshake with these guys.

Yup. Had to pay tax (not that that was any big deal). Just told them it was not for my business. Immediately, they asked, well, where do you work. They used my agency's ID and billed me. Easy!

it makes sense that the employees know it's a formality that they deal only with biz. I'm pretty sure we pay tax on stuff like gloves anyway because it's not for resale.

I thought it was a formailty at first. But then they checked up on me when I tried to order online. Try, try again is the lesson.

Man, Grainger rocks. Ordered liners yesterday at 3:30 PM. They arrived at 9:30 AM today. No expedited shipping. Gotta love that.
