What kind of upgrades? Cupholders, non-skid, boarding ladders, handicap rails, I'm lost?

thinking new platform. here is a photo. i guess it isn't to bad but after seeing some others on the posts, i thought some investigation wouldn't hurt. is there a company that makes aftermarket platforms or does Mastercraft?

MasterCraft makes the fiberglass platforms to color match a particular boat/model and I very seriously doubt you can get a replacement unless it is identical to a current model being manufacturered today. I don't think there is a 2009 or 2010 boat/color that has the very same transom configuration that is the same as your 9 year old 2000 model, but ICBW.
If you would prefer or accept a teak platform, http://teakworldenterprises.samsbiz.com/ can make you one that will fit your boat from their OEM patterns from 9 years ago.

Yours might be an OEM platform, but the previous owner probably removed the crappy black rubber that was on it before you bought it. If I were you, I'd just get yourself some new rubber or padding for it.
You might consider trying this stuff, might be what you already have on yours, but I'd try covering the whole platform.

Here's a larger pic of my platform in case it helps you in any way...http://i200.photobucket.com/albums/aa294/dpolen/Mastercraft/IMG_5222.jpg

Is that carpet on the swim deck? If so, get some of that gator grip rubber and replace it. Otherwise there isn't much to "upgrade."

no it is a non-skid material. i am sure it will work fine and since it is a bit scratched up already, i won;t be so senisitive come next spring with the teenagers start jumping off with wakeboards.

thanks for the link to gator grip. that seems to be the best solution. looks i can actually match colors also.

Keep them runts off the deck with their boards. Gelcoat is more labor intensive to sand and polish scratches out of than teak. On 2nd thought, keep 'em off the teak too!
(I banned putting boards/skis on the deck a couple years ago. Has saved me 2 packs of sandpaper, 1 bottle of teak oil, and alot of preciuos (?) time sanding out other peoples scratches.)

I Rhino lined mine and put a MasterCraft decal in the middle of it. He's a pic.

yea, i saw your platform a few days ago with the logo. that has a nice look to it. I would imagine i will recover over the winter. give me something to do in our long...much to long offseason. Live in the wrong part of the country for me to feed this passion.

Took a while to find this again but have you checked out this place?

They'll make you whatever you want. Looks like they may already have MasterCraft patterns.

Local MC dealer had one left. It is the raised type.
