Howdy Y'all! I love this website - the information is amazing. I have pert-near worn out my printer with all the historical and informative threads that I felt needed to be kept in my library (bathroom).

I'm really curious about the '93 Stars and Stripes edition. What colors did they come in? How many were made? Are there any links to original ads/catalogues? I've been scouring the interwebs, but I have been unable to turn up the historical documents.

Thanks!

JP :)

It never fails. As soon as I posted a querry about a 1993 catalogue, I found one. For those interested the thread with catalogue links can be found here:

And I discovered the 1993 Stars and Stripes came in blue or red metalflake only. So... most of my questions have been answered, but I'd still love to see some pictures of these bad hummajummas in action.

Thanks!

JP :)

I sure do love the 93 S&S.
my all time favorite S&S's are the old school S&S's, the 93 and the 98 are so beautiful. :worthy:

I love the old SS, however in this photo I would like to see what that is in the boat house. Looks pretty sweet!

Well. That is a 1958 18 Lyman w/ a inline Gray 6 Cylinder "WITSEND" is the name of the
boat. Dean has owned it FOREVER

Boat "B" is a 1970 26 Foot Irwin all Mahogany plank. Made in Henderson NY
As of today there are only 3 left. 1 is on a trailer at the Henderson Historical Society

"Windswept" is the name. I wish I had a photo of the stern AWESOME

Lastly he just SOLD a 61/62 Century Resorter Last year for wood w/ a vinyl deck
"SUZIE Q" named for his wife Suzie. The boat won a couple of shows in Syracuse NY
Perfect in everyway.

Wooden boats...and you think direct drive fiberglass boats have ALOT of upkeep

Leaving myself this next Friday for upstate NY to help pull docks and lifts out

Takes 3 days...at least that is what we tell our wifes (Maybe 3 hours HA HA HA)

Sure wish they would have made a green one in '93, green like the one next to it.
You don't see many this color, here in the Nothwest my '79 is the only one I have seen.

The green metal flake next to 93 S@S is a 1977 owned by Kevin Mahoney.

yellow78mc thanks for posting up the picture from that reunion. It was a blast hanging out with Herold and everyone else. I miss that boat but got a great offer on it I couldn't turn down. I have that bench in my living room and the table in a bedroom. The show platform is stored waiting for me to put legs on it and a glass top.

Do I have to draw you a picture???

Yea, yea, I know, just like I've removed the mirror from over the bed and placed it on the ceiling over the kitchen table, for obvious reasons!
