I might be getting a 96 prostar 190 transported and need measurenents of the boat and trailer, does anyone have any factory literature, or could someone measure theirs? I need overall length when on trailer, from front of trailer to back of boat, overall height(top of windshield) when on trailer, overall width of trailer from outside fender to outside fender, and overall width of boat from rub strip to rub strip. Also, I need to know how far back the wheels are from the front of the trailer. If anyone has any of this or could point me in the right direction that would be great! Thanks

Going to need to send more info.

Folding tongue?

Single or tandem axle trailer?

Width at fenders or boat guides?

This will get you a few of the dimensions you need. I believe length on the trailer is around 23.5'. Good luck.

Straight tongue, single axle. More worried about low width, like at the fenders or side of the tire, whatever is wider. Should a 96 swim platform be removable? If it isn't, how much length does it add, about 20"? I'm figuring the 19'6" does not include swim platform, right?

Would this not be the responsibility of the potential seller???

Thanks for posting that, the 85" should be an overall width at the widest spot including any moulding, right?

My trailer was 19'-11" with the folding tongue and swim platform removed. Add 16" for the tongue to get to 21'-5" in length.

Width from fender to fender was 100".

Length from tongue to axle is ?????

I measure 173" from axle to tip of the tongue....

Thanks. I don't think its going to fit where I need it to, didn't think it would be 100" between the fenders.... Judging by every picture I see, the fenders don't look removable either.

Fenders are removable, but that only buys you maybe 2" total.... takes a bit of work, but they come off.

Thanks for the pics Sodar, the fenders are held on with hardware, no welds?

Just bolts with nuts and washers. The fenders are fiberglass.

Anyone have a height to the top of the windshield when the boat is sitting on the trailer?

5'-11"... call it 6' for good measure.

You need a 9'x7' garage door, min, to fit it in. 19'-11" w/ no swim deck and folding tongue sounds right. Just fit by a few inches in my old garage and it was 20'-3" from wall to door. If you put a ND tower on it, it will still fit thru a 7' tall door.

I just went out and measured my 96 that's in my avatar.

Front of tongue at ball mount to back of boat = 20'-8"
Front of tongue at ball mount to back of teak platform = 22'-3"
Outside of wheel to outside of wheel (widest point) = 95"
Ground to top of windshield = 5'-9"

It helps a lot, thanks! So on your trailer do the sidewalls of the tires actually stick out of the fenders, or are we assuming the fenders are removed? How far back is the centerline of the axle from the tongue ball mount? Thanks.

Where are you trying to fit the boat? A coat closet?

Tires bulge out past the fenders 1" each side. Ball mount to center of axle is 14'-5".
