So I tried out my friend's boom for the first time on Sunday. Had a blast but my ***/hip area is not too happy with me... Going to spend some time getting some pointers on the web, and I'm also looking for a cheap barefoot suit - I'm 5'9 165lbs - if you've got anything that would fit that you're looking to get rid of send me an e-mail:
jclorfeine@hotmail.com

Thanks,
Jared

one tip...buy a size smaller than what you think you need.

I'm about the same size as you. I'm wearing an xs Barefoot International suit. Granted, it's tight, but I like it better for tumble and deep water starts.

If you buy a used wetsuit, you've gotta know it's been peed in...
Buyer beware.

Holy Crap.

Did you buy it new when you were your current size? I've seen some people grow and keep their wetsuit and it "stretches" to fit them over time.

The whole lake is peed in what is the difference?

Consider getting your self some padded shorts to go along with you barefoot suit purchase. I used my suit for years before I got around to adding a pair a shorts underneath and wished I would have started using both at the same time. You won't regret...

No, I don't do the "Dumb and Dumber", but many are known to do so...

A previous post made a rec for adding padded shorts. Good rec and I'll second.

I bought it new from Seipel. He sized me up for a small....I used it for the day and took it back for an XS. It felt like ply wood until I broken in.

Now, if I used barefoot shorts, it would be a different story. I don't think I'd be able to squeeze into my suit if I had to wear them. But I've never liked them so I opt not to use them.

PS, I've never peed in my suit!

Spleen. I have a Casad one from way back in the late 80's (long sleeve shorty). Neon yellow on the sleeves and neon pink panels on the thighs. Damn sexy. I think it probably smells like Grain Belt Premium (used) and Minn lake water still. I must have peed enough to fill a keg in that thing back in the day.

That sounds like one Hollywood needs to add to his collection!

Oh, I should probably keep it. If for no other reason, I might end up at an 80's party and I'll need some period clothing to wear to it.

That's what I'm talking about! The 80s'er the better. Got any pics and what size is it? That should also look good on my old stand up jet skis.

Its pure 80's. No pic of it though. I think I bought it not long after this pic was taken (perhaps within a year or two). No, I'm not saying which of these fine 80's specimens is me.

If I was were that barefoot suit right now, looking at this picture would make me pee in it.

Yea, I definitely need to keep the barefoot suit (I actually let a friend use it a couple of years ago when snorkeling in Baja as he was a bit fearful of ocean swimming).

I have an Eagle Razor size medium. colors: Blue/Black that I may be willing to part with. I have only worn it twice. NEVER PEED IN IT> I DO NOT PEE IN MY SUITS> It's practically brand new...even still smells new.

Here's what it looks like

PM me if you are interested.

Oh, here is the eagle size chart. A medium would be perfect for you.
