So heres the story, i have an '01 yukon that runs great only downside is the 180k miles on it. I am looking to upgrade to a 03-06 yukon xl 2500 for a couple of reasons, first i freelance dj and all of my equipment does not fit in my yukon, looking for something a little larger with more towing capacity which is why i am looking at the 3/4 ton. Yes i know about the economy and gas prices but i firgure its going to be about the same, GMC got a liitle better with the milage starting in 03 and i would stick with the 6.0l which is what i have in my current car.

Heres what i am looking for

-Experiances good or bad, have you owned or was it a friend?

Thanks for the input in advance

Prostar, I have a 03 suburban 3/4 ton 4x4. I bought it new and it's been my wides daily driver. This is our 2nd one. Now that my kids are getting older and driving it's really not needed anymore. It has leather, Bose radio with 6 way disc, steering wheel controls movable foot pedals, pose rearend with towing package, 80000 miles. It has never towed a trailer as our boat is on a lift, it may have pulled our prostar out or in over the years at the end of the season. I've always loved the 3/4 ton trucks as this is my second on in a suburban and I've also got an 3/4 ton shortbed. Runs perfect pm me or give me a call 815 693 9077 tim it has the 6.0 motor, the trans fluid and radiator have both been flo
usher and the front , rear diff and transfer case oils have also been changed.

I have an 04' Yukon XL with the 8.1L

I love it! Much snappier than the 6.0L and almost the same mileage. I'd go for the 8.1L.....

Gotta go to a meeting but will post back soon.

I have an '01 yukon xl and have no complaints. Only problem is that 4 kids have put a little wear on it. I've been searching for about an '06-'07 yukon xl to replace this one. I've been finding them in the range of $35k - $40k...

My Suburban is for sale! It's a 2000 K2500 with only 85K miles on it. 6.0 liter, 4 captains chairs, LT package, CD stereo, rear heat & a/c, woodgrain interior kit. Black with tan leather interior.

I'll let it go for $9K. I'll get some better pics if you're interested.
