View Full Version : transmission/perfect pass help needed

I have a 2002 xstar with 165 hours. REcently was driven for a few days at Lake powell with a bent prop that caused it to shake a bunch. Prop is now fixed but the perfect pass shows about half of the real speed when cruising and until it warms up a bit, the accelerator arm can be as far as full throttle at times before it starts to react properly. No other issues other than a slight whissle can be heard when it gets around 25mph but seems to go away above and below that speed.

I could really use anyone's feedback and advise as to what this sounds like. I was told by someone that the timing might be off from running with a bad prop for several hours/days but the lack of responsiveness in the first part of the last two times out since the prop was reconditioned leave me at a loss.

Anyone have any good advise, feedback as to what might be going on. Transmission fluid is full, engine runs great.

did you tighten the black knob on the servo clockwise?

maybe look for damage on the paddlewheel.
