Just joining the MC ranks, lurking here for a while. Found a steal IMHO on just what I was looking for....a 2001 MariStar 210.

Features:

170 Hours.
Always stored indoors.
Only used on one freshwater lake.
Meticulous owner.
Dealer serviced w/ receipts.
330 HP LT-R
Spare prop
2 anchors, 4 new bumpers w/ matching rope, 4 bow/stern lines - color match, 6 new USCG life vests
Original MC soft-sided cooler bag, MC sun hat, 12V air pump, HO tube, HO Ski
Wakeboard tow rope, Ski tow rope, tube rope.
2 wakeboards
2 shorty wetsuits
2 O'brien vests
Fitted cover

This boat is pretty much like new.

Has been fun in the three times I got it in the water so far.......Sure manuvers different at low speeds that the I/O I had for 20 years....getting used to it though. This site has been a great help so far....many more questions to come though.

Will install a New Dimensions tower and bimini this winter.

Looking for any tips for new owners of inboard boats...

I just picked up a 2000 230 and had it in the water for the first time yesterday when I brought it home. Like you said will take time to figure out the steering, but the learning curve will be fun. Best of luck with it and enjoy. I am nervous with my purchase right now, but I know I will love it.

Welcome, and congratulations on your new boat. You have come to the right place. Check out some of the older threads on some of the questions you may be having, e.g., steering, launching and retrieving, changing an impeller. You may get some differing opinions, but most of the time, the opinions will get you to where you want to be. Good luck!
