We have a new X star with about 15 hours on it now. It's a great boat so far, we have the pro ballast in it and it throws a great wake and is a lot of fun. I do have a few frustrations though. On the port rear locker where the hinde is, there is already stress cracks coming off where it is screwed on. The dealer already said they will fix everything but its frustrating when something like this is already happening. Does anyone else see this happening on their newer boats?

Sure. It happens all the time on MasterCrafts and every other boat brand. They'll get it fixed up for you.

Yeah, it happens. Fortunately I've only got one small gel crack on my X2, right on the deck in an inside corner of the picklefork.

Weird, i've got one too right on the underside of the starboard picklefork, pretty hard to see but i found it when i was waxing the boat.

just leave it alone - the two small cracks in the gel-coat on my transome would have looked better than the repair that was done. twice.
