chaps , i was at work this week and left the wife and kids up at the lake...they had some pretty heavy rainfall and the cover was not put on....there was water in the glove compartment which i managed to sponge out(why no drain?)...but more worryingly, the battery box was full up with water....
1.is there a drain in the bottom of the box??
2.if not,can i drill one??
3.where will this drain?
4.anyone else had a simalar problem??

I was looking at mine trying to see if you could drill a hole from the battery compartment into the center ski locker, however I can't tell if the compartments will meet up. Sorry I wish I could be more help.

Good Luck. I would get on them to put the cover on everytime.

That's why I have a wet/dry vac. Good luck!

I have a 197 and have had the same issue. on the 197 you CAN'T drill a hole. It will not work. Wet/Dry vac is the only way
