There is a blue and white early 80's S&S for sale by private owner on my lake. I have seen this boat around for quite awhile and it seems to run great but needs restoration.
If anyone is interested, I can take a few pics.

I'll find out more info. and take a few pics when I go to the lake.
I enjoy looking at the older S&S's anyway.

Jeremy, she's in pretty bad shape. Would need a complete resoration incuding major gelcoat work. They took the sign off so I don't know how much they are asking. This boat is at a conference center and has been used and abused by different people over the years.
Let me know if you want me to find out how much they are asking.

Steve it seems to be fairly rough. See what they are asking. If it seems reasonable let me know. You know I dont want to give like 10,500 for it or anything. Dont go to any trouble, just find out next time you are that way.

No problem, it's only a few minutes from the cottage and we drive by it on the way. I was surprised that the interior wasn't very bad.

Find out what year. It could be a late '70's, It has the same windshield as mine. The interior doesnt look bad. I think I am pretty interested. What is the major work that you are talking about?

It has some pretty bad gelcoat damage but I know that a good gelcoat person can repair even the melalflake. There is a very good gelcoat shop about 7 miles north of the lake and this guy can make it look like new but he takes a long time and cost's big bucks.
I believe that the boat runs good. I have seen it on the lake over the years.
Here are some more pics.

No problem. It would be nice to see it go to someone that would restore it.

I really like that year range. It was the first MC that I skied behind about 25 years ago. MC and Cypress Gardens teamed up and went on a promotional tour. They had 2 or 3 that looked just like yours and you could try Cypress skis and ski behind the MC's. One of the ski clubs held the event on a lake that I used to spend a lot time on.
