Hi,
I am the owner of a 1994 mastercraft 205 pro star with a 275 EFI indmar engine. I am having starting problems which my marina says are electrical.
I need, desperately, the wiring diagram for this engine or the service manual, either or both of which I am prepared to pay.
There are NO mastercraft or Indmar dealers in the Pittsburgh area and I have no trailer.
I am a newbee here, so I hope you will help.
Thanks George

please give description of your starting problems.
Last October I took the 91 PS190 out one last time to mix the fuel stabilizer thoroughly through the system.
Ran for about an hour, then all went dead! no cranking, nothing.
called sheriff's dept since we were the ONLY boat on the water, they called lake patrol, and they said since it was not life or death; paddle to shore.
got it on the trailer, and it would crank, but not start.
took it home, cleaned it up, pulled pink anti-freeze through the block and covered it up.
finally mentioned it to the guys on this board, and within 2 hours we had it fixed!
Bad Safety Kill Switch!
lanyard was properly inserted, but the switch itself was bad....
found out by inserting a jumper wire to two of the terminals on back of the switch....
$15.00 and I was good to go!:steering:
too late for the short version8p
long version contains my wife's version of this story:o
Does it crank & not fire, or does it not crank? Check the safety switch- do the gauges move when you turn the key to ON? What else have you checked so far? Turn the key ON and listen for a click and buzzing sound that lasts for 2 seconds. If this isn't happening, the fuel pump relay is either not getting the voltage trigger or the pump/harness could be loose. Also, look at the rear of the motor for the ground wires, making sure they aren't loose, frayed or disconnected. Also, check the fuses on the motor. There are three of them- one for the fuel pump relay, one for the ECM and one for the ignition system.

Thanks for your responses. I will try to tell you where we are:
It is not the safety switch for we have power at the ignition.
It cranks but will not fire. we are not getting signal to the injectors.Sometime the fuel pump comes on and sometimes it does not.We have checked the fuses.
The guys at INDMAR were great and sent the wiring diagram and offered to give advice. They were suprised that there were no dealers (MC or Indmar in Pittsburgh.
I will know more tommorow morning late.
Thanks again. Oh, will recheck for loose wires.
George
Pull the relays and check for corrosion, too. Then, check for voltages at the fuel pump relay if you have a multi-meter. Pin 85 is DK GRN/WHT and you should see 12V. Pin 86 is BLK/WHT and you should see ground when the ECM tells it to run the pump. Pin 87 is GREY and you'll see 12V when the motor is running or during the fuel pump prime(for 2 seconds). Pin 30 is PINK/BLK and supplies 12V to the relay and pump through the fuel pump fuse. Pin 87a is not used. If the relay is the problem, it's a Bosch part, preferably the one with a diode to shunt any voltage spikes.
Another thing to check is the purple/white wire coming from the ignition control module in the distributor. During crank and run, you should see 1-2VDC. If you see nothing, you could have a bad pickup coil or IC module. If the ECM sees nothing form this, it thinks the motor speed is zero and won't fire the injectors or the fuel pump.
If you really want to check to see if the injectors should be firing, you can go to NAPA or most other decent auto parts stores and get a noid light. This plugs into the injector harness and flashes when the injector
should fire.
