Hey guys .... planning a last minute trip with my wife and 2 kids to either Norris Lake or Cumberland this weekend.

Friday - Sunday ... I know the usual places and our regular home for norris this weekend is occupied.

Anyone have any available rentals that they are willing to share?

At Norris, I normally stay by the Flat Hollow side of the Lake but would love a rental somewhere closer to the slalom courses.

cumberland ..... my 2nd choice.

Anyone?

Thanks in advance.

check out this place.

I have used this for a day or two, and the owner is good to work with you.

it is fairly small, near Indian River Boat Dock, not too bad a run from the Big Creek course.

parking is tight, and not much room to do much outside the cabin, other than a fire pit (and the lake obviously).

we stayed here a few times and loved it. although it is not right on the water, a 5 min walk to the dock from the cabin is nice. the owners are real cool too. kinda far from sequoya slalom course though.

If you end up going to Cumberland, you could rent my modest houseboat right on the water, with a slip for your boat for $400.........................:) Located at Lee's Ford Marina

Hang on a second.................weren't you at one of the Mag Mania events?????

I like your offer!you can see pics here...........http://www.buyaboat.net/boat_listings.aspx?boat_id=432 Actually I'm trying to find someone that might be interested in every other week-end use of the boat.........it's quite a decent deal..........basically about $3,000/ year...way less than you'd spend renting a home;)
