Maybe someone with some expertise can clarify a couple of maintenance items for me.

I have an '02 X30; Engine - LTR 5.7; fuel injected; Transmission - ZF Hurth Marine HWS 450D.

Mastercraft recommends: replacing the Transmission filter annually; Dealer says "there is no filter on this transmission."

Dealer's 20 hr, 50 hr & 100 hr services recommend replacing the fuel filter; when asked Dealer says need to replace at 500 hrs.; filter in inside the fuel tank.
I cannot find any recommendation from Mastercraft.

Mastercraft recommends replacing the PCV valve annually; Dealer says replace only "when necessary."

Mastercraft recommends replacing the Distributor Cap, rotor & points annually; Dealer says there is no Distributor Cap.

Anyone give me some clarification? Would be greatly appreciated.

replace trans fluid every 100hrs or 2 years
oil every 50 hrs or in the fall before winterization
new impeller in the spring every year.
lube rudder every fall and cable ends
don't buy fuel at marina's and filter will stay much cleaner
no cap and rotor
I forget anything east texas?

Clean that flame arrestor and throw on a coat of wax.

All scheduled maintenance is here. (http://www.tmcowners.com/teamtalk/local_links.php?action=jump&id=15)

They have descriptions of where the transmission filters are located on both the 1:1 and the power slot. Who knew?

THANX, EAST TEXAS

Dealer says the transmission does not have a filter. Maybe I should try to contact Mastercraft. Wonder if the Dealer knows his stuff.
