Looks like its coming together nicely. Just one question about that second thing. Does anyone really see that once its all back together?? Jk, and I wish I had the ability to do all that stuff. Is the new intake stock?? And seriously, what does the port and polish accomplish?

Jeremy,

Are those March pulleys? I want to replace mine and have found that this is the only place that sells aftermarket that fit.

He is having the cylinder heads ported and polished to increase horsepower. It is labor intesive work on what I am assuming are his factory heads.

Correct?

as tim the toolman use to say MORE POWER...then he grunted....i had it done to the motor i built and put in my bronco (302)...but i put a 4bbl intake and carb and bigger cam...whole lot of power under the right foot now...but im not so sure how much just porting and polishing alone does....definately helps tho. :toast:

Yes they are stock heads. I did the cam last winter because I had to have one. My cousin worked for a company that built heads for nascar cars. He did all the head and itake work.

Yes they are March pulleys. I got them from summit.

Porting and Polishing heads increases horsepower. As long as you pair it with the right intake, cam and carb.

Thanks, I have been eye-balling those for awhile. It looks like I'm going to bite the bullet and buy some pulleys.

They are not really that bad. I think I paid like 189 or 198 for mine.
