I would like to swap our our wood grain interior pieces (dash, throttle area, and engine cup holder); however the kit for $800ish is not an option. Has anyone done anything or came up with any custom methods to "de-wood"
Thx

I would keep the old parts, make a stencil with them on some construction paper. Go to a machine shop have them make some new ones out of aluminum.

I was thinking along the same lines. Any other methods that have been done in the past? Maybe someone has a boat that has been totaled out that would like to sell parts?

Working on making some accessories out of Starboard. You can work with it just like wood, and it lasts forever.

I made all of mine out of carbon fiber for about $175 I guess.

Very cool...
What did you do about the back of the engine cover / cup holder area?

I like the carbon fiber. Does it come in sheets?
