We went to Larurel lake for the weekend for the first time. I don't slalom ski anymore but I was impressed with the setup at this lake. In a big cove they had a long no wake zone leading to a slalom course. I don't know how they managed to get a no wake zone just for slalom use but good for them.
We're for sure going back!

thought the same thing. Never went to laurel, could never convince myself to leave Cumberland or Dale Hollow when we lived up in that area.

If I had my pick Dale Hollow would win hands down but coming from the north Laurel is an 1 1/2 hours closer. I'm headed to Dale Hollow in a couple of weeks.
Yes that's a Malibu 23 LSV the tower gives it away, There were 9 of us in the same boat with all of our gear, it did a fine job! I'll be taking my MC next time.

That's good to hear. I would be open to an alternative to Cumberland for our annual late-summer trek south - weren't sure if Dale Hollow or Laurel would be better for slalom (course) skiing.

Laurel Lake rocks!! Very nice slalom course with 3/4 buoys in a secluded cove. We have found that Laurel offers everything we'd want in a bigger lake and provides more seclusion than other lakes such as Cumberland and Hollow.
