I have a 2001 Prostar 205v and the blower hose is shot. It is 3" and look like "Dryer Vent Hose" Does it have to be something else???

Also it only went up to one of the vents and there are two, in the back??? Is one for a fresh air vent and the other the exhaust for the Blower or does the Blower need to tee and be hooked up to both???

I bought the boat used and I don't know if it was screwed up before???

Thanks
Mike

One is for the blower hose and one is for free flow venting thru the bilge when on plane and the blower is not on. Hose here, http://www.skidim.com/prodinfo.asp?number=MPI402-30000 (http://www.skidim.com/prodinfo.asp?number=MPI402-30000)and at most any marine store and boat dealer.

Thank you TMCNo1

I am 6"4 and 345lbs and it was all i could do to fit in the side hatch to remove the hose!!

Putting it back might require me to drink light beer....

If you haven’t done the install already, you may want to consider returning the dryer hose, and picking up some RV sewer hose (available at most walmarts). It is a bit more “heavy duty”. I replaced mine 3 years ago with dryer hose, and wish I had seen the posts here from others regarding the walmart rv sewer hose. The dryer hose is an ok option though, if you’ve already done the install.
