I sold my Z-28 finally and am now in the market for something different, maybe in the 2000-2001 range. I don't need a truck since I have the ol' 88 GMC K5 to tow the boat around, so what car should I get? I'm partial to 2 door V8's with standard transmissions :steering: but I am open to other suggestions.

Something in a nice shade of OSU orange would be a good addition to Norman.

OSU orange would make me want to push it off of a cliff after setting it on fire.

I've thought about looking for an older car, like a 442, Challenger, etc... still not sure yet

It's back but it dosen't look like a charger.

The 442 is a nice choice or a sweet GTO

One Mopar magazine my dad gets had a 69 Charger R/T on the cover and a new one. Under the old Charger the caption read "this is a charger" and under the new one it said "this ain't". Chrylser screwed this one IMO.

If you want something newer How about a couple of year old Subaru WRX STi. Not a V8 with a stick but ,a 300hp Turbocharged AWD Ralley Car / Rocket Ship for the street. :eek3: Very fast and very fun. Thinking out of the box for you.

Ive thought about a WRX, the problem is is that they're so hard to find and when you do find one it's had the crap beaten out of it.

Well, you sold the Z-28, which is good information..... but to properly suggest a replacement vehicle, we are going to need a bit more info.

1. Did you cut the Mullet?
2. Did you shave the moustache?
3. Are your wife-beater-style tank top t-shirts the ribbed style or plain?
4. Who is your favorite NASCAR driver?
5. What stickers did you have on your Z-28? No Fear, Oakley, Calvin Peeing on something, Summit Racing, Edelbrock, etc.? (If you had a Calvin sticker, what was he peeing on?)

The answers to all of these questions will weigh heavily in your new vehicle choice.

80s IROC CAMARO, It's the only way to go, and make sure to wear a pink polo shirt with the collar up when driving.

A nice used BMW M3 would fit the bill. They are a driving machine, holds great resale value, too. And you'll pass everything including the gas stations :D

( I assume you're not married w/children) If I was young and single again, that would be high on my list.

(I do wish that I still had my old 69 GTO, though)

Wow. Not a Nascar fan, no mullet or Moustache? Sounds like you got rid of the Camaro just in the nick of time......

I'd have to second that M3 suggestion. What an incredible car!

Friend of mine at Chrysler told me three years ago I wasn't going to like the Charger, and he's right! They should have stayed with the concept car that everybody loved so much.

I second the M3. BMW's can be a blast. And bullet proof German relaibility and that euro road feel.

Or try to find an old sunbeam tiger with a 302, yeah I know to old. However you dont see to many of them.
